The 2nd Annual Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity’s Run Crazy for C.A.S.A. 10K & 5K Run & Walk will start and finish at the Pavilion # 1 near the boat ramp at Craighead Forest Park in South Jonesboro Arkansas.
This is the 11th event of 11 in the 2010 Ridge Rider Athletic Club’s Running & Walking Series. Series Points will be awarded to 10K participants. Participation credit will be given to all 5K participants.
Online registration is available at www.racesonline.com or you can follow the direct link on the left. Pre-registration cost is $15.00 online and $20.00 for mail in entry.
Fee increases to $20.00 online and $25.00 for mail in entry on November 4, 2010. Each participant that pre-registers online is guaranteed a T-shirt and race goody bag.
Packet Pickup and day of registration will be from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM at The park at Pavilion #1. Day of registration will cost $20.00 and you are NOT guaranteed a race shirt or race packet.
The Run Crazy for C.A.S.A. Run &Walk will start promptly at 9:00 AM
Runner, Walkers and walking teams are encouraged to pre-register and arrive
early for packet and chip pickup.
The 5K course will be a single clockwise loop of the park. The course is rolling to hilly and there is a nice challenge about half way through the course. There will be two water stations at the 1 & 2 mile splits. The course will be marked and supervised with volunteers. There will also be Jonesboro Police Officer support on the course.
The 10K course will be a mix of approximately 2 miles each of park road, gravel trail and single track dirt trail. There will be 5 water stations approximately the 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 mile splits. The course will be marked and supervised with volunteers.
Proceeds go to the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).
This will be a ChampionChip timed race. You are responsible to return the Chip assigned to you. Please make sure to turn in your chip to the volunteers at the finish line.
