The Downtown J-Town 5K Run & Walk will start and finish at City Youth Ministries at 118 Burke Street in Jonesboro Arkansas.
As an event in the Ridge Rider Athletic Club’s Running & Walking Series; Series Points and participation credit will be awarded to all participants.
Online registration is available at www.racesonline.com or you can follow the direct link on the left. Pre-registration cost is $15.00 online and $22.50 for mail in entry.
Fee increases to $20.00 online and $25.00 for mail in entry on ten days before race date. T-Shirts are only guaranteed to those participants registered ten days before race day. We will order additional t-shirts, however those that register after the the fee increase will receive shirts on a first come first served basis until they are gone.
Packet Pickup and day of registration will be from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM in the Gym at City Youth. Day of registration will cost $20.00 and you are NOT guaranteed a race shirt or race packet.
The Downtown J-town 5K Run &Walk will start promptly at 8:00 AM
Runner, Walkers and walking teams are encouraged to pre-register and arrive
early for packet and chip pickup.
The USATF certified course is mostly flat mix of city streets and downtown neighborhoods. There will be two water stations at the 1 & 2 mile splits. The course will be marked and supervised with volunteers. There will also be Jonesboro Police support throughout the course.
Enjoy plenty of door prizes and great Burgers and Hot Dogs after the race for all participants and volunteers.
Proceeds go to City Youth Ministries.
This will be a ChampionChip timed race. You are responsible to return the Chip assigned to you. Please make sure to turn in your chip to the volunteers at the finish line.
