The 2nd Annual Downtown J-Town 5K Run & Walk will start and finish at City Youth Ministries at 118 Burke Street in Jonesboro Arkansas.
This is the 8th event of 11 in the 2010 Ridge Rider Athletic Club’s Running & Walking Series. Series Points will be awarded to all participants.
Online registration is available at www.racesonline.com or you can follow the direct link on the left. Pre-registration cost is $15.00 online and $20.00 for mail in entry.
Fee increases to $20.00 online and $25.00 for mail in entry on September 16, 2010. Each participant that pre-registers online is guaranteed a T-shirt and race goody bag.
Packet Pickup and day of registration will be from 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM in the Gym at City Youth. Day of registration will cost $20.00 and you are NOT guaranteed a race shirt or race packet.
The Downtown J-town 5K Run &Walk will start promptly at 8:00 AM
Runner, Walkers and walking teams are encouraged to pre-register and arrive
early for packet and chip pickup.
The course is mostly flat mix of city streets and downtown neighborhoods. There will be two water stations at the 1 & 2 mile splits. The course will be marked and supervised with volunteers. There will also be Jonesboro Police support throughout the course.
Enjoy plenty of door prizes and great Burgers and Hot Dogs after the race for all participants and volunteers.
Proceeds go to City Youth Ministries.
This will be a ChampionChip timed race. You are responsible to return the Chip assigned to you. Please make sure to turn in your chip to the volunteers at the finish line.
