The Gary Schuchardt Memorial 5K Trail Run & Walk presented by the United Way of Northeast Arkansas will start and finish at Craighead Forest Park Pavilion # 2 in Jonesboro Arkansas.
As an event in the Ridge Rider Athletic Club’s Running & Walking Series; Series Points and participation credit will be awarded to all participants.
Online registration is available at www.racesonline.com or you can follow the direct link on the left. Pre-registration cost is $15.00 online and $22.50 for mail in entry.
Fee increases to $20.00 online and $25.00 for mail in entry on ten days before race date. T-Shirts are only guaranteed to those participants registered ten days before race day. We will order additional t-shirts, however those that register after the the fee increase will receive shirts on a first come first served basis until they are gone.
Packet Pickup and day of registration will be from 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM at Pavilion #2 at Craighead Forest Park. Day of registration will cost $20.00 and you are NOT guaranteed a race shirt or race packet.
The Awards Ceremony will be at Pavilion #2 as well.
The Gary Schuchardt Memorial 5K Trail Run & Walk will start promptly at 8:00 AM Runner, Walkers and walking teams are encouraged to pre-register and arrive early for packet and chip pickup.
The course will be mostly single track trail at Craighead Forest park with a great finish along the level next to the lake. The course is challenging with some rolling hills. There will be two water stations at the 1 and 2 mile splits. The course will be marked and supervised with volunteers.
Proceeds go to the United Way of Northeast Arkansas and the Gary Schuchardt Memorial Scholarship at ASU.
This will be a ChampionChip timed race. You are responsible to return the Chip assigned to you. Please make sure to turn in your chip to the volunteers at the finish line.
