The 3rd Annual Associated Radiologist Family Fit 5K Run & Walk will start and finish at the Arkansas State University Convocation Center located at 217 Olympic Drive in Jonesboro Arkansas.
This is the 2nd event of 11 in the 2010 Ridge Rider Athletic Club’s Running & Walking Series. Series Points will be awarded to all participants.
Online registration is available at www.racesonine.com or you can follow the direct link on the left. Pre-registration cost is $15.00 online and $20.00 for mail in entry.
Fee increases to $20.00 online and $25.00 for mail in entry on April 1, 2010. Each participant that pre-registers online is guaranteed a T-shirt and race goody bag.
Packet Pickup and day of registration will be from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM inside the Blue entrance of the Convocation Center. Day of registration will cost $20.00 and you are NOT guaranteed a race shirt or race packet.
Make plans to stay the morning for the HMG Health and Fitness Expo that goes along with the 5K. There will be Health and Fitness vendors as well as a number of Health Screenings and some Continuing Education Programs as well. There is complete information at www.hmg.md
You are also welcomed to bring you Road Bicycle and take part in the 2nd Annual Ride for the Cure at 9:00 AM. The Ride for the Cure is a fully support bicycle ride through Northeast Arkansas. See the Ride Registration for more info.
The Awards Ceremony will be inside the convocation center on stage at 10:00 am or as soon as the last participant finishes.
The Family Fit 5K Run &Walk will start promptly at 8:00 AM
Runner, Walkers and walking teams are encouraged to pre-register and arrive
early for packet and chip pickup.
The course will run in and around the Arkansas State University campus. The Race begins with a great downhill start. The first 2 miles have some rolling hills for the experienced runner and a very flat and fast final mile. The race finishes inside the Convocation Center in middle of the Expo. There will be two water stations at the 1 and 2 mile splits. The course will be marked and supervised with volunteers. There will also be Jonesboro and University Police Officer support throughout the course.
Proceeds go to the Healthcare Medical Group Foundation.
This will be a ChampionChip timed race. You are responsible to return the Chip assigned to you. Please make sure to turn in your chip to the volunteers at the finish line.
